Guest Guidelines

A Quiet Kind of Grandeur

Alpine Castle is a private home in the hills, opened to a few guests at a time. It was never meant for loud parties or crowds. It’s for long dinners, good conversation, and the kind of gathering people talk about for years. We host one private group at a time, and we ask every guest to help us keep the castle peaceful, for your group and for the neighbors we share these hills with.

Our Guidelines

Your gathering, planned ahead

Every gathering is arranged in advance and approved by your hosts. One person books for the whole party, invites their own guests, and is our single point of contact. Please keep your group to the number agreed when you booked. We don’t host public or ticketed occasions.

A gentle volume

We’re in a quiet residential area. Please keep voices soft when arriving and leaving, especially in the evening. There’s no amplified music outdoors.

Your guest count

Please come with only the guests named in your booking, and keep overnight guests to the number agreed. We’re glad to accommodate where we can, but we have specific requirements we must follow. Unannounced extra guests will most likely be turned away. If we mutually agree to welcome an additional guest, an extra charge will apply.

Overnight stays

The castle settles into quiet hours at 10 PM each evening.

Care for the castle

The castle is one of a kind, and every corner has been made by hand. Please treat it as you would a friend’s home. Each booking includes a damage deposit, set out in your written agreement.

Fire country

We’re in the backcountry, so no fireworks or open flames outdoors. Indoor fireplaces are lit only by your hosts.

Dining and dietary needs

Tell us about allergies and dietary needs, including gluten-free, when you plan your visit. We’ll talk through what we can accommodate before your date. We serve beer and wine with meals only.

Parking

Parking on the property is limited to five cars, so please carpool where you can. Additional spots are available upon request, and larger groups may require a shuttle.

Courtesy, always

We welcome every guest warmly and ask the same in return. Rowdy, unsafe or disrespectful behavior toward the home, the neighbors or anyone on the property isn’t permitted. Your hosts may ask any guest or group whose conduct puts that peace at risk to leave, as permitted by law.

Thank you for helping us keep Alpine Castle the gracious, peaceful place it’s meant to be.
